The foals living on the Chateau are raised by their mothers and grow up in a herd. They are very well socialized, learn to be handelt in a halter and are tought the manners around people, as well as other animals, cars and everyday situations.

Every foals name is carefully chosen by Maria Von Rosing, based on their character or assosications with them. The names have a personal meaning and it can take a few days until the perfect one is found. This process is an important part of the arrival of each new member of the von Rosing horses.
