In partnership with LEADing Practice, a global standardization body for leadership and transformation, this program includes written personality and leadership assessments that are jointly evaluated by experts from von Rosing Horses and LEADing Practice. These assessments provide a holistic understanding of the individual’s leadership strengths, communication style, and growth areas. Throughout four carefully structured modules, participants refine their ability to lead individuals and groups, remain calm under pressure, adapt their leadership style, and build trust through consistency, clarity, and emotional regulation. Horse Leadership Training Program Overview
This is not theoretical learning. It is leadership that is felt, experienced, and transformed from the inside out. Each module is delivered over:
- 3 days on-site at Château Du Grand Perray, with in-depth practical exercises with horses
- 2 days of individual 1:1 executive coaching, tailored to each participant’s journey
- Total: 20 days of development across all modules
- Each participant also receives a written personality profile and leadership assessment
Module 1: Horse-Interaction & Communication
Participants begin by learning the fundamentals of interacting with horses through non-verbal presence, intention, and body language. This module focuses on building mutual trust and understanding, without the use of force or dominance. Key themes:
- How to communicate with horses using energy and space
- Reading emotional states—your own and the horse’s
- The power of silent leadership
- Developing presence through stillness and clarity
Module 2: Leadership within Horses
This module explores how leadership naturally emerges in horse herds, offering deep insights into authority, respect, and group dynamics. Participants reflect on their own leadership behavior and learn how horses model effective, trust-based leadership. Key themes:

- Leading without commanding—earning followership
